Hey Guys, I have had a lot of you ask where I download my music. In this weeks video I run you through all the ways I have downloaded my music over the years for Djing.
The list is basically
1. I tunes
2. Beatport
3. Youtube to MP3
4. Soundcloud to MP3
5. Pirate bay and Vuze
6. Epidemic Sound
Hopefully this will help. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks.

Say I buy iTunes for £10.99 a month or whatever it is. Will that subscription allow me to take any music that’s on there and keep in on my hard drive? Or do I have to purchase individual songs that I want to keep for myself wherever I take my USB? Sorry if this is a stupid question I’m new to all of this!
Do you have a list of songs that you recommend I download to get started from the 70s onwards
If you're just starting and learning to be a DJ, I understand trying to get free music. But once you start earning money playing gigs, why pirate music like you can't afford it?
just use sidify
320KBS tracks, free, uses Deezer’s entire library, sounds to good to be true till I found Deezloader
What do you think about DJ pools?
How is yt not blocking this? Haha…..it's like you said what lots of us know but don't talk about….thumbs up 😉
Really baffles me that DJ software doesn’t allow you to import your music from streaming sites your subscribed to. I really cba to spend money on iTunes to get my music if I’m already spending money to get it off Spotify!
Vk.com + savefrom.net
If I pay monthly for Beatport, would I be able to have the songs downloaded and eventually put them on a USB Flash Drive to plug into my Deck?
Great Video Phil! Djs Come check out TheBeatFreakz.net, Remixes and Videos. We got you covered:)
Ally Law is that you?
just get spotify premium
its 9.99 per month
its cheap
I buy my songs from these DJ pools:
Beatport
DJ City
BPM Supreme
I know this is a bit old but if you have iTunes then you can subscribe to Apple play.
When I do a set and someone request something I don’t have loaded in my library I play it from my phone thru my system.
YouTube quality sucks and I don’t recommend using it as a source.
Is using sound loader for sound cloud illegal because it lets you dounload the songs free can someone plz tell me
Can’t I just play it on Spotify and connect the dj board?
Can rip the CDs into mp3s, free from most public libraries
Www.mp3juices.cc
Pick video
Click download
Convert automatically to mp3
Onto your music video and fast
in the inro he is the whitest thing iv ever seen
amazing videos Phil!
Can you use Apple Music to download music?
just don't convert the music video version to mp3?
Remixroom.net is a good record pool for Djs
This is for Apple-users. For the rest (few?) using PC/Android in general, Spotify in particular… no use.
Just use 320bits.us
Verry good video cool
I literally used soundcloud for hearing music but I didn't knew that hear dj's downloaded music…..
Hey guys.
I've a controller.
So what's the best free DJ software
People like you are the reason why this business is f%#ed up.. Its saad enough that "not djs" dont pay for music.. Butt as dj.. You should understand why its important to oay for music.. Or do you play also gigs for free?
….
Dude, pornhub shows up at 4:15 WTF lol quite a pirate you are ay
Check with a copyright / intellectual property attorney. A consult isn’t that expensive, and some have great info posted publicly. The truth is, most internet commenters have no clue regarding copyright and intellectual property law.
Downloading song files is one thing. Performing / playing them to an audience is another thing.
In a private event (secured, invitation only, corporate, etc) one set of laws is applied, and often licensing isn’t required. In a public event, such as an open, non-membership dance club, another set of laws applies, and licensing is surely required (ie ASCAP). That said, it’s generally the venue that is responsible for the licensing, not the performer.
Seriously, though, if you perform or want to sell your music or distribute your live sets online, do some actual research by reviewing the government sites, attorneys’ sites or talking with an attorney. Don’t trust interweb comments, including mine!
Peace ✌️
Throw your hearts up
Music off iTunes is drm protected so you can’t use it. You have no idea of what you’re taking about. You’re a phony.
i get it from tidal
*Torrents* aren't illegal
I want too use pulse locker already, but if I dvr youtube its legal if I record the radio or live tv its legal. Is it legal if I play spotify off my account and it turns into a recorded mp3 is it legal we will never know unless you produce your own music put it on youtube and then….
Find unkown artist who have boycotted all these sites and buy from the artist plus it makes it limited so if the music is good other djs dont have them so it makes exclusive. Plus the artist doesnt get ripped off and gets 100% of the revenue cant stand beatport they haven't a clue about genres
Knock knock knock * FBI open up
Naughty naughty 🤣🤣🤣
now I have a problem with ya mate, mixing under 320kbs is unprofessional. Like it ruins speakers. Like I get a marriage but at clubs this would get you blacklisted from playing again because clubs spend thousands on their sound production so shit producers and DJs can play bad quality sounds on their systems. Buy your music, support your artists, and stop playing under 320kbs.
Im pretty sure playing itunes, spotify is illegal even with a PPCA licence.
I get mine from dj city
I use for downloading music app called MP3 Rocket and I can download 320kb or 512 quality
So you show people how to break the law. Nice.
